Signs of the advent of Imam Mahdi (as) at the end of time

Here I need to refer to the Sunni belief in Imam Mahdi (as).

Sunnis also believe in Imam Mahdi (as). Finally, they believe that there are two differences with the views of the Shiites. First, they believe that Imam Mahdi will be born at the end of time and he has not been born yet, and second, that he is not the son of Imam Hassan Asgari.

Shiites believe that just as before the advent of the prophets, signs for their emergence were mentioned in the books of the previous prophets. Let’s prepare that savior.

Signs of emergence are divided into two categories: definite signs and  Uncertain signs.

  1. Uncertain and general signs that do not have to happen before they appear, are very many. Sometimes scholars have mentioned about 1200 signs and believe that all these signs have happened. For example: Imam Ali (as) in answer to a question “Sa’sa Ibn Sohan” – who was one of the companions of that Imam – said about the Antichrist and his departure, and about the signs of the advent of Imam Mahdi (pbuh): The sign of the departure and resurrection of the Antichrist is when people leave the prayer; Waste deposits; Lying is considered lawful; Eat usury; Take bribes; Fortify buildings and sell religion to the world; Apply foolish people; Advocate for women in affairs; To break the peace of mercy; To follow the whims and desires and consider killing and bloodshed small.

In the book of Al-Kafi, Imam Sadegh (AS) is quoted.

[1] When you see that the truth is dead and the people of truth are gone;

[2] Oppression is everywhere;

[3] The Qur’an has been worn out and heresies have been created out of air and lust in its meanings;

[4] Religion has become meaningless, like a vessel being overturned;

[5] The false seek greatness over the right;

[6] Evil has been revealed and it is not forbidden, and whoever commits an ugly deed is excused;

[7] Debauchery has become apparent, and men are content with men and women with women;

[8] The believer is silent and they do not accept his words;

[9] The wicked one tells a lie, and no one returns his lies to him;

[10] The little boy despises the big man;

[11] The kinship is severed;

[12] Whoever is praised for his evil deeds will rejoice;

[13] The boy does what the woman does;

[14] Women marry women;

[15] Praise and flattery have abounded;

[16] The man spends his wealth except in the way of obedience to God and no one prevents him;
