How did Ashura day go?
. Finally, on the day of Ashura and on the 17th day of their wedding, Wahab and Haniyeh were martyred. With his bravery, Qamar created epics and won two houses. Now pay attention to the testimony of Wahab and Haniyeh:
The day of Ashura has arrived. Qamar said to Wahb: My son, get up and help the son of the daughter of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Vahb said: I will definitely help my mother and I will not fail.
Umm Wahhab used to invite his son to the field so lovingly, as if he wanted to fly his dove to the field. He shed tears of joy that his new son-in-law would drink martyrdom next to Hussain (peace be upon him).
Haniyeh, Wahab’s wife, was initially reluctant about Wahab’s going to the field because of her foreignness and the fact that she had just married Wahab. And it was hard and painful for him to bear the separation from Wahb. But Qamar insisted that Wahb go to the field and said: My son, I will not be satisfied with you unless you go to the aid of the Prophet’s son. My son, you will never reach the intercession of the grandfather of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, except with the consent of the Imam and my consent.
Finally, Haniyeh said to Wahb:
When you are killed, you will enter heaven and become a companion of Hur al-Ain. Then you forget me. If you want to calm my heart, let’s go to Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and promise me in his presence that you will not forget me.
Wahb and Haniyeh came to Imam. Haniyeh said to Imam: I have two needs:
- When Wahb is killed, I will be left alone, join me in your family.
- When Wahb was killed and was buried with Hur al-Ain, be a witness that he does not forget me.Haniyeh’s speech from the heart affected Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). Tears fell from Hussein’s eyes. He calmed Haniyeh and promised that her wishes would be fulfilled.
