How did Ashura day go?

Once when the Imam attacked the enemy, he went to the Euphrates River. One of these evildoers said: If he drinks water, we will not be able to kill him so soon. So he made a trick and said: Hossein, you want to drink water while the enemy took your women’s tent. Because Imam was very zealous towards his family, he immediately went to the tents, but he realized that these evildoers had deceived him.

Imam returned to the tents for the last time. He asked his sister Zainab to be patient after her martyrdom and not to scratch her face and to be in charge of the affairs of the caravan. Hazrat Zainab cried out and realized that there was no turning back. The people of the tent surrounded the imam. Imam said goodbye to everyone. Then he asked for old clothes and wore them as underwear. Hazrat Zainab asked the reason. He said: My sister, I am afraid that after killing me, these wicked people will take all my clothes and leave me naked. Let me have poor quality clothes under my clothes so that they don’t want to take her.

Imam once again sent a large number of enemies to death and wanted to rest for a moment. Suddenly, an evildoer threw a stone at the imam’s face and his face was filled with blood.
The imam raised his hand to wipe the blood, and the evildoer put an arrow on his chest. The Imam fell from his horse to the ground. His army surrounded him and everyone struck a blow. The imam’s horse, named Dhul-Janah, returned to the tent with a bloody head and mane. The people of the shrine realized that the imam was in the hands of the enemy, and they all started crying.

Because Ibn Ziyad had put a reward for the head of the Imam and his companions. One of the evil commanders of Ibn Ziyad’s army was a person named Shamar, and he shouted, “Why don’t you finish his work?”
